The General Education Center is responsible for planning and teaching the courses in general education. It directly supervises three sections: Humanities, Social Science, and Natural Science.
The goal of the General Education Center is to help our students develop into balanced and well-rounded professionals who are knowledgeable about the humanities. CIT seeks to instill broad-mindedness and civic responsibility in its students. With this goal in mind, the center has created a general education program, requiring each student to select a certain number of credit hours from this general education program. Our general education courses involve a wide range of subjects and interests.
